about Institute of Aeronautics and Aerospace Studies (IAAS)
Located in Livermore, California, United States, a city located east of and behind the first coastal range of mountains that surround the San Francisco Bay Area. IAAS is a higher education institute recognized for its superior aeronautical science, and professional pilot training programs. These programs provide excellent academic opportunities for US candidates, high school graduates and college freshmen.
Our Mission
The mission of IAAS is to perform teaching and applied research in disciplines related to Aeronautical and Aerospace studies, and to facilitate optional professional pilot training for a small student body size that fosters academic excellence and discipline.
Location
The academic classes are offered at the San Ramon DVC campus public library, the pilot training courses are offered at the Livermore Municipal Airport in Livermore California.
Institute Structure and Organization
IAAS is non-profit research and teaching institute. The application for a tax-exempt entity under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code is being submitted in year 2012-2013 by the Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for the safety of assets and all properties of IAAS. The board sets the annual budget and determines policies for operation of the Institute.
