Landing gear provides a comfortable landing while functioning in the most demanding conditions. Leveraging its decades of experience, Landing Gear’s products are found on most of the leading commercial transports including the world’s largest airliner, the A380, as well as Boeing’s 737, 747, 767 and 777 families of aircraft.
Primary products include main, nose and wing landing gear assemblies that are built from high-strength metals to withstand harsh operating conditions, and to provide reliable long term performance.
In addition to the landing gear structural assemblies, product offerings include fully integrated systems comprising ATA Chapter 32 components such as cockpit controls, electronic control units, braking systems, extension and retraction equipment and steering control systems.
Through the progressive use of lower-weight materials and innovative product designs, Landing Gear is able to develop more robust products that excel in extreme environments. Moreover, advancements in simulation and modeling are leading to optimized designs with improved in-service performance and lower maintenance requirements.
