VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation is the world’s largest titanium manufacturer with the full production cycle: from raw-material processing to release of finished machined products. VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation took part in Paris Air Show 2015. More than 25 business meetings and negotiations with foreign consumers of Russian titanium were successfully held during the air show.
VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation participated in Metal-Expo-2015, the 21st international industrial exhibition, where it introduced its products and technologies.
Russia Arms Expo 2015, VSMPO-AVISMA introduced new low VST2 titanium alloy for armor and structural materials.
MAKS-2015, Airbus and VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation presented the first machined part to be used for manufacture of А350-900 landing gear.
During MAKS The Boeing Company and VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation reached an agreement for supply of forgings for a new 777X composite wing.
July 2015, The Boeing Company, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation and Ural Federal University signed a strategic partnership agreement.
April 2015, John F. Tefft, United States Ambassador to Russia, visited VSMPO-AVISMA production site in Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk region.
July 8, 2015, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation signed three long-term agreements with Rolls-Royce for 2016 – 2025 for supply of titanium rolled and semi-finished products.
VSMPO employees Andrey Rogozhnikov and Gennadiy Zaitsev were awarded medals of second degree order for Merit to the Fatherland in May, 2015.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Victory in the World War II VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation congratulated more than 700 of its veterans, 49 of them are the battle-front veterans.
VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation contest called “Let’s color the World together!” was held for the 8th time. More than 2000 of children from Berezniki, Usolye, Verkhnyaya and Nizhnyaya Salda took part in it.
