As an FAA certified AP- IA, I can accomplish the Annual Inspection on your experimental or certified aircraft. For experimental aircraft this requirement is a part of your operating limitations and generally refers you to CFR  part 43 Appendix D.

The items required to be checked can be found below, however, we are intimately familiar with Van's aircraft so in addition to these items  we also know wher to look for common builder errors and problems that we see with these aircraft.

The condition inspection usually takes 3-4 days with additional time for repairs if required. Parts and repairs outside the scope of the inspection are extra. For planning purposes a week is usually about righ(this assumes we are not waiting on parts and we don't run into anything serious).

We will only return to service an aircraft that we feel is safe and airworthy. As a condition to us maintaining your aircraft, we expect our customers to "approve" any item that we tell you needs  repairing or replacing without a fuss. We only know how to do maintenance one way, the right way,  and we will not sacrifice quality, safety or our integrity for any reason.

We may cost a little more and take a little longer than some other shops because we refuse to cut corners when it comes to maintenance.

Some of the things that we include as part of the inspection:
