Windy City Flyers is a flight school and aircraft rental club located at Chicago Executive Airport (PWK) in Wheeling, IL. Established in 1991, Windy City Flyers has trained thousands of pilots using a structured program that allows you to move at your own pace. Our full-time staff includes FAA certified flight instructors, a management team, and Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics. With the largest fleet in the Chicagoland area available for flight training and rental, we recognize the need for superior customer service and expert aircraft maintenance. Scheduled flying lessons and aircraft rentals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Flying club memberships are available to reduce rental rates for regular flyers. However, a flying club membership is not required to fly with an instructor or work towards a license or rating.
Our Chicago Executive Airport facilities consist of a professionally staffed dispatch desk, an approved FAA written exam center, a pilot shop that includes aeronautical charts, a full-motion flight simulator, one-on-one ground school classrooms, and a heated hangar.
