Brief Description:  A license that permits the holder to act as the pilot in command (PIC) of an aircraft during visual day and night conditions.

Basic Requirements:

Be at least 17 years of age.

Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.

Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate.

Receive a minimum of 40 hours of training.

Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test.

Part 141 Estimated Cost**:  $5,895

*based on average training program using a Cessna 152 and do not include any applicable taxes, medical certificate or supplemental tranining materials and equipment.  Actual costs may vary by individual.  Prices are subject to change without notice and may vary slightly at our different locations.

**Part 141 is an FAA accelerated course, greatly reducing the training hours.  Estimate is based on 35 hours.
