BASIC DRONE OPERATOR COURSE


General:
  • This Drone Operator course is designed for those without previous flight experience who wish to obtain an official license to act as operators of RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) up to a weight of 25kg for commercial, professional, sporting or leisure purposes within the Spanish national territory or within the EU.
Topics:
  1. Regulations and Aviation Law
  2. General knowledge of the aircraft
  3. Performance and flight planning
  4. Meteorology
  5. Navigation and interpretation of maps
  6. Operational procedures
  7. Communications
  8. Aeronautical terminology
  9. Human factors
Course Duration:
  • 50 hours theory
  • 10 hours of practice, divided between 3 hours of practical theory, 2 hours of basic repairs & software and 5 hours of flight practice.
  • 10 consecutive days, 6 hours per day.
  • Price: 1.200 € + IVA

ADVANCED DRONE OPERATOR COURSE:


General:
  • Enables the student to gain advanced knowledge and skills in order to operate complex drones capable of flying out of visual line of sight.
Topics:
  1. Advanced communications for the operator
  2. ATC knowledge and skills (ATC air-space division)
Course Duration:
  • 10 hours theory
  • 2 dais, 5 hours a day.
  • Price: 500 € + IVA

DRONE PILOT COURSE FOR THOSE WITH A PILOT´S LICENSE:


General:
  • This practical course is for those already in possession (or within the previous 5 years) of a Pilot´s license and enables the student to obtain the necessary license for operating drones within the Spanish national territory as well as within the EU.
Course Duration:
  • 10 hours of practice, divided between 3 hours of practical theory, 2 hours of basic repairs & software and 5 hours of flight practice.
  • Price: 600 € + IVA

TYPE-RATING COURSE FOR NEW MODELS OF DRONES:


General:
  • This course consists of a practical exam of 1 hour of duration, concentrating mainly on maneuvers in order to verify the correct operation and handling of different models of drones.
  • Price: 1.200 € + IVA
ENTERY REQUIREMENTS:
  • 18 years of age
  • Class II medical certificate
  • No previous criminal convictions
