Avionics

Airframe
This is far and away the most highly upgraded CJ in the world. Significant aerodynamic improvements in redesigned cowl and custom winglets yield a no-kidding 10+ knot increase in cruise performance! Here are just a few of the upgrades: *custom built carbon fiber structure based on a Sukhoi design. The cowling is four inches narrower than that of a stock CJ, therefore presenting less frontal area and reduced drag. *The cowling is aerodynamically faired internally to decrease airflow drag on both ingress and egress. * The fuselage just behind the cowling and forward of the windscreen has been raised to reduce drag and to eliminate the broken back look of the stock CJ. * The air vent at the base of the windscreen has been replaced with a clean air vent system drawing air into a NACA vent under the left wing. Air is delivered to both cockpits via adjustable vents. * The cowling has been designed to quickly provide access to the engine compartment
