Simsbury Airport, near Bradley International in central Connecticut, is a small and friendly country airport convenient to Hartford as well as the many attractions of the Farmington Valley. It is a non-towered public use airport, maintained and operated by the non-profit Simsbury Flying Club for the benefit of its members and transient general aviation aircraft.
Self-service 100LL fuel is available 24/7 -- plus pistion engine maintenance by Touchdown Aviation, LLC on weekdays. Future Flyers of Ct. provides full service flight instruction in a Cessna 172. We are home to EAA Chapter 324. The airport is open year-round and pilot-controlled runway lighting provides 24-hour operation. The 2205 ft. paved runway is in excellent condition and the approaches are quite clear. There are no parking or tiedown charges for short-term transient aircraft.
