ZAI supplied most of the composite components for the Aurora Flight Sciences Perseus A and B high altitude UAV's including:
3 section collapsible wing spanning over 60' Portion of Perseus B Wing Tank Master, Mold and Part
Carbon fiber tubular tail boom and empennage
Main body payload fairings
Main landing gear
ZAI performed the structural design, analysis and manufacture of the 28 gallon suspended wing tanks and an interior 30 gallon fuel tank for the Perseus B. Both designs were completed at only 1/2 the weight initially estimated by Aurora Flight Science engineers.
