CAAC Fines Sky Angkor Airlines 20,000 Yuan for Low-Altitude Approach

The CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration has fined Sky Angkor Airlines 20,000 yuan, for malfunction during approach at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

According to a statement released by the regional administration on September 30, the carrier was engaged in a dangerous approach for flight ZA483 at Wuhan Airport on May 26 with apparently low flying altitude.

Angkor Airlines violated the Article 91, 129 of CCAR-129, failure to operate the aircraft properly. Therefore, the aviation administrative department imposed a fine of 20,000 yuan in line with Article 63 of the Regulation (CCAR-129)
