PUNTA GORDA, Florida — The Florida International Air Show (FIAS) is asking Southwest Florida charities for volunteers to help work concessions at the event, slated for Oct. 21-23, 2016, at the Punta Gorda Airport.

“Working” charities will receive 10% of the concession stand’s gross sales in exchange for their help during the show.

To date, FIAS has donated more than $2 million to charities that provided volunteers at previous air shows.

FIAS asks that volunteers be at least 18 years old and be able to work at least one eight-hour shift on any of the days of the event.

Volunteer organizers of not for profit charities are asked to contact Jennifer Smith at FloridaAirShow@outlook.com or 941-268-09698.
