According to Reuters, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines stated on December 27 local time that the company plans to resume operations of Boeing 737MAX models in February 2022 and expressed satisfaction with its safety.

The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines said: "Safety is our top priority. We have spent enough time to supervise the design modification work. The pilots, engineers, aircraft technicians and crew members are confident in the safety of the fleet."
