On June 18, 2021, the Boeing 737-10 successfully flew for the first time. This indicates that the Boeing 737-10 is about to start a comprehensive test.

This aircraft is the fourth and largest aircraft in the Boeing 737MAX series. The first flight of the Boeing 737-10 has been postponed many times before. According to the latest node released by Boeing, the Boeing 737-10 is scheduled to be delivered in 2023, three years later than originally expected.

In the process of re-certifying the Boeing 737MAX, EASA hopes that Boeing can develop a "virtual" sensor that integrates data from multiple sources and comprehensively judges the authenticity of the data from hardware sensors.

At present, the development review of this virtual sensor has been completed, and the platform for flight testing will be the Boeing 737-10. This flight test will be carried out in 2022 and may be certified in 2023.

On December 2, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the Airworthiness Directive (No. CAD 2021-B737-19, Amendment No. 39-10792) on "Correcting the Unsafe State of the Maneuverability Enhancement System MCAS". This directive applies to all Boeing 737MAX aircraft with serial numbers.
