The LS03-05050-A MS-USB panel mount iPad charger is capable of charging an iPad, iPhone or USB device in a ruggedized cockpit configurations. The MS-USB charging circuitry was developed to charge newer apple products, i.e. (5 volts-2.4 amps to 12 watts) for specifically AIR, AIR2 iPads and 5c,5s, 6, 6+ iPhones. The MS-USB panel mount is a MIL STD receptacle that has a dust-proof, splash resistant silicone cap that’s built into a lightweight aluminum chassis. It comes with a (mate and lock connector) that will make installation from a Lone Star Aviation 5v dc converter to the MS-USB charger a straight forward and easy task.

The LS03-05050 was replaced with the LS03-05050-A model as new iPad models came to market in 2013. Lone Star new circuitry increase the charging current capability ( to 5 vdc to 2.4 Amps) for the newer iPad AIR, AIR2. The LS03-05050-A is backwards compatible with earlier models that charge at 5 vdc 2.1 amps, 10 watts.
