YPU's robust and field-proven Portable Tester has identical performance characteristics to the YP-30H. The unit incorporates all the capabilities of YPU's larger units into a mobile, wheel-mounted portable rack structure, without sacrificing either quality, reliability or performance.
The YP-30H Portable has been especially developed to meet the needs of field testing for cables and harnesses that cannot be transferred to a workshop, such as those used in submarines, helicopters and warships and airplanes. Thus, besides saving on down-time, units can now be tested in real-time environments. This minimizes the need for disassembly and maximizes testing procedures; it also enables testing of equipment that in the past could not be tested.
