DESIGNED FOR BOTH ConSUMER AND PROFESSIonAL IP-CAMERA APPLICATIONS, the S2L and S2Lm families of SoCs enables a new generation of intelligent security cameras, bringing advanced High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing, wide-angle viewing, high resolution video up to 5Mp30, and on-board analytics into the mainstream. The S2L targets professional HD IP cameras up to 5Mp30, and the S2Lm is designed for small form factor, ultra-low power consumer cloud cameras.
The S2L and S2Lm include hardware lens correction to enable cameras that cover a wide viewing area. Smart-AVC H.264 low bitrate streaming technology significantly reduces network bandwidth requirements, lowers cloud storage costs, and supports the use of multiple cameras in home environments. A flexible ARM Cortex-A9 CPU allows the implementation of cloud services and intelligent video analytics such as intrusion detection, or audio analytics such as the detection of breaking glass.
