Normal instrument course is also available, and is charged by an hourly rate for instructor, simulator, and aircraft.

In our seven day instrument course we will spend our days immersed in the fundamentals of IFR flight. We don't provide you with just enough training to pass the checkride, but teach you how to use the latest technology to be comfortable in a real world IFR situation. Expect to fly a wide variety of approaches; DME arcs, RNAV (GPS WAAS approaches), and localizer back courses. Unlike most flight schools, we will file actual IFR flight plans every time we fly so that you will be comfortable with the process.

Our iGATE advanced ATD is an indespensible tool that will enable you to learn more efficiently and effectively, allowing you to experience various emergency flight scenarios, while learning to analyze and manage these situations, even while flying approaches at airports all over the country. Up to 20 hours can be logged on the iGATE towards the 40 hour minimum requirement. We will utilize your aircraft (or ours for the additional hourly rate) for the remaining 10 hours.
