The DéBut kit is a competition flying embryo designed by Gordon Roberts of the Cleveland Free Flight Society. It was declared plane of the year by the National Free Flight Society in 2001. This is a modern design kit of a winning embryo. It has a geodetic wing structure for strength and lightness, and the wing is removable for easy transportation.
This free flight rubber powered model airplane kit includes a full-size rolled CAD drawn plan, building and flying instructions, laser cut balsa parts and hand-picked balsa strip wood FAI rubber, TissueCal™ markings, clear plastic for the cockpit, landing gear wire, wheels, Peck propeller, EBM thrust bearing, and Easy Built Lite tissue in yellow and orange. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
