The Half aWake kit is a half-sized version of the 1939 Wakefield Canadian National Contest winner. In 1939 the big brother, Wakefield, made it's maiden flight of 28 minutes Flash to 2011, the Flying Aces Club supported the lead of Gordon Roberts and Dave Pishnery to promote the "Half Size Wakefield" event suited for smaller fields. Easy Built Models is happy to return to its heritage and support this effort by offering this model in the new size format.
This free flight rubber powered kit includes a full-size rolled CAD drawn plan, building and flying instructions, laser cut balsa parts and hand-picked balsa strip wood, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, FAI rubber motor, Half aWake Girl TissueCal™ markings, and Easy Built Lite Tissue in red. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
