This course provides the necessary flight training and flight examination required by E.A.S.A Part F.C.L

Instrument Rating on a single engine piston aircraft.

Privileges of the Holder

The privileges of an IR(A) holder are to fly aeroplanes under IFR with a minimum decision height of

200 feet (60M).

Contents:

 (option 1) 50 hours flight training with instructor on IFR trainer, however if this course

is taken in combination with a CPL course, the required flight training reduces to 40

hours.

 (option 2) 15 hours flight training with instructor on IFR trainer, and 30 hours on FTPT

 1 hours skill test on IFR trainer

 Printed instructional material

 Low and High Altitude / procedural charts

 Pilots operating handbook

Prerequisites:

Minimum Age : 17 years

Medical Certificate : Class II

Previous training :

 PPL(A) with Night Rating or higher

 50 Hours cross country as PIC

 Theoretical training : IR theory or ATPL theory
