Requirements
Age 17 years old
Medical Category III Medical
Hours Minimum of 45 hours, consisting of:
17 hours dual (at least 5 hours instrument, and 3 hours cross country)
12 hours solo (at least 5 hours cross country)
Ground School 40 hours
Tests The following are the requirements for a Private Pilot License:
At least 90% on the Student Pilot Exam (PSTAR)
Obtain a Radio Operators License
At least 60% on the Private Pilot License (PPAER)
Successfully pass a Private Pilot Flight Test within the previous 12 months.
