Experience/Minimum Training Flight Time:
(a) An applicant for a night rating shall have acquired in aeroplanes a minimum of 20 hours of pilot flight time which shall include a minimum of:
(i) 10 hours of night flight time including a minimum of:
(A) 5 hours dual flight time, including 2 hours of cross-country flight time,
(B) 5 hours solo flight time, including 10 takeoffs, circuits and landings, and
(ii) 10 hours dual instrument time.
5 hours from the Private Pilot Licence will be credited toward the night rating.
10 hours dual (5 hrs dual at night + 5 hrs Instrument) at $225.00 = $2250.00
5 Hours Solo at $170.00 = $850.00
5 hours Ground Brief (5@60.00/hr)= $300.00
Total: $3400.00
