ND-MS2 meters the fuel supply to AI-450-MS engine according to electronic control system commands, and supplies fuel for inlet guide vanes and air bypass valve actuation.

Description: The fuel metering unit provides:

rising of fuel pressure in boost stage of fuel metering unit;

rising of fuel pressure in main stage of fuel metering unit;

supplying of fuel delivery to starting fuel spray nozzles;

supplying of fuel delivery to main fuel spray nozzles;

supplying of fuel to actuating devices;

engine cutoff by electrical command;

filtration of fuel;

signaling of fuel filter clogging;

limitation of minimum and maximum fuel delivery rate;

metering of fuel delivery by automatic control system.
