R162 (250 Series) is a lightweight 3000 PSI (207 Bar) oxygen hose qualified to MIL-DTL-26633. The hose consists of an extruded smoothbore non-conductive PTFE innercore, reinforced with CRES 304 wire braid. It is based on the 240 Series, but features a non-conductive PTFE innercore specifically for use in high pressure oxygen systems supporting space vehicle and military applications. PTFE provides excellent chemical resistance with an unlimited shelf life. In accordance with MIL-DTL-26633 the 250 Series operating temperature range is -65ºF to +165ºF (-54ºC to +71ºC).
