All high performance aircraft pulling high-G must be equipped with an Anti-G Valve. Without such a device, the pilots are not able to sustain high-G of more than +4 G.The aircraft industry provides such anti-G systems in form of hardware-controlled valves. These react on aircraft induced G-loads and have a fixed pressure versus Gz load characteristic.
The AMST software controlled anti-G system represents an alternative to such standard aircraft anti-G systems for use in human centrifuges or other earth-based simulators.
Pressures in the trousers and in the vest are different, mainly in the ratio of 10:1.
