RV Wing TipsWhat better way to complete your airplane than with a custom wing tip design? The wing tips knock off around about 9 1/2 pounds to the standard tips, and have recessed locations for Whelen nav/strobe lights. Each tip is composed of two parts: the main wing section and aileron end cap. We suggest mounting the main section exactly as the plans call out for the standard tips, and securing the end caps with rivets. Tips are supplied filled and finished in matte clear, and do require trimming and fitting. We suggest covering the parts with masking tape while installing, to protect the surface and provide clear markings to cut and drill.
