The LUN 1241 electric attitude gyro is a direct-indicating gyroscopic instrument used for the indication of longitudinal (pitch) inclination and lateral (roll) inclination of the aircraft with reference to its horizontal position.Its operational range is through 360° both in pitch and roll. There is a field of controlled precession at pitch attitudes exceeding ±70°. Applied gyroscopic system has three degrees of freedom. The primary display component of the instrument is an spherical pitch indicator display with a scale indicating the longitudinal (pitch) inclination within a range of ±20°. The horizon is equipped with a locking device, adjustable aircraft symbol in the range of +10° to -7° pitch and with visual indication of operational status. The picture represents a view from the plane to the earth gen surface. The instrument is designed to meet all requirements and methodology rules TSO-C4c and RTCA/DO-160D.
