The program covers the serial avionic modernization of 165 TurAF F-16s.
The contract between The Undersecretariat for the Defense Industry (SSM) and TAI was signed on 31 August 2009. The modernization of 149 F-16s are being performed by TAI at TAI's facilities while the modernization of remaining 16 F-16s are being performed by 1.MMC in Eskişehir under TAI’s supervision.
