BYROBOT Co., Ltd. was founded by Sangki Ji in August 2011. He worked several years as a researcher for all flying robot projects in KITECH (Korea Institute of Industrial Technology). His team is the first to make a single ducted-fan flying robot with a gasoline engine fly autonomously in Republic of Korea.
