<p> <strong>Abou</strong><span><strong>t Us</strong></span> </p> <p> <span>We, (Charl and Kai) both fly CTSW’s. These wo<em></em>nderful aircraft are designed in Germany and are entirely manufactured from carbon composite materials, which speaks to their low overall weight, efficiency in the air and low maintenance. The compo<em></em>nents are manufactured in the Flight Design factory in the Ukraine and then brought to The Flight Design factory in Kamenz in Germany, wher they are assembled, engines and avio<em></em>nics installed and all testing done, prior to being packed and shipped to their destination. In order to offer customers a reaso<em></em>nable delivery time, we have booked and paid for a permanent production slot which allows for a 5 to 6 mo<em></em>nth delivery time from the date of receipt of deposit.</span> </p> <p> Our ba<em></em>se is at Morningstar Airfield, just 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. We have close l<em></em>inks to Sideslip Aviation, which is the AMO on site, as well as to the Morningstar Flying Academy. Sideslip will be tasked with the assembly of all CT’s, for which they will be trained at the factory in Kamenz in Germany. Morningstar Flying Academy is able to provide co<em></em>nversions on to CT aircraft for new owners. Test flight are also possible from here, subject to prior arrangement. </p> <p> At present, there are 16 registered CT’s in South Africa, and we are co<em></em>nfident that we will add to these numbers soon. We have yet to come across a CT owner, who is not thrilled with their aircraft and and it’s performance.. </p> <p> We also have a good relatio<em></em>nship with Flight Design approved European CT dealers, who have previously owned and refurbished aircraft available.
