<p> Department of Applied Engineering and Technology prepares professio<em></em>nals - through bachelor, associate, and certification programs - for careers in: </p> <p> Applied Engineering Management </p> <p> Aviation </p> <p> Career and Technical Education </p> <p> Co<em></em>nstruction Management </p> <p> Network Security and Electro<em></em>nics </p> <p> Advanced career opportunities in Applied Engineering and Technology Management may be found through the Master of Science program. </p> <p> Facilities, Equipment and Instruction </p> <p> The Department is located in the Ralph W. Whalin Technology Complex which includes approximately 100,000 square feet of classroom and laboratory space. </p> <p> Laboratories housed in the Whalin Complex include aviation, automation, electronics, computer aided drafting (CAD), flight simulator, graphic communications, quality assurance and metrology, materials and me<em></em>tallic processes, co<em></em>nstruction estimating, fluid power and computer applications. </p> <p> The facilities are located in the central portion of campus and are close to the library, classroom buildings and dormitories. </p> <p> How are we doing? Graduate Surveys </p> <p> To help assess how we are doing and to provide data for the reaccreditation process through the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) we ask our Applied Engineering Management/Industrial Technology and Network Security and Electronics/Computer Electro<em></em>nic Networking graduates complete the Alumni Survey. This survey is completely voluntary and helps AE&T faculty track students as they advance in their careers. The questio<em></em>nnaire also gives graduates and employers an opportunity to provide much needed information regarding AE&T programs, such as suggestions for improvement. </p> <p> <br /> </p> <p> <br /> </p>
