<p> a<em></em>bout Us </p> <p> Our Founder: Alan Emerson </p> <p> Chief Pilot, Director of Maintenance, Director of Operations and owner. In addition to working 24/7 at Emerson Aviation, Alan acted as Airport manger, plowed the runways and maintained the beacons on the surrounding mountains. NASCAR drivers, owners, and fans enjoyed the accommodating services provided by Alan's crew whenever the races were being held in nearby Loudon, NH. Bobby Allison Sr., Rusty Wallace, Joe Gibbs, Roger Penske, and Dale Earnhart are just a few who co<em></em>nsidered Alan A friend. </p> <p> Alan Emerson passed away in 2002. His son David now carries on the Emerson tradition at Emerson Aviation. </p> <p> Emerson Aviation (aka DAE Aviation Enterprises), is the oldest fixed ba<em></em>sed operator in New Hampshire and was originally founded by David's parents many decades ago. DAE Aviation has grown from a small two person operation to the largest operator in Laco<em></em>nia servicing approximately 80% of the field operations at the airport. </p> <p> DAE employs a combination of full and part time perso<em></em>nnel fluctuating between 10 and 15 employees seasonally. The company is located in its headquarters on the north end of the airport in its 4000 square foot office space built in 2005 adjoining his 4k square foot maintenance facility. In addition, DAE owns 3 acres of adjacent privately owned land which enjoys exclusive direct runway access from the o<em></em>nly non-airport owned land to benefit from gated runway access. </p> <p> <br /> </p>
