Main focus of production activities is upon vanes, blades, discs, rotor components for LPT and HPC, low pressure turbine assembly and parts repair. Key issues in the research & development of MTU Aero Engines Poland are the design of profiles of uncooled low pressure turbine blades for aircraft engines, tools, equipment for processing and testing of engine components as well as software development and diagnostic control unit for aircraft engines.

In addition, the location is responsible for handling the V2500 activities resulting from the increase of MTU's stake in this engine program. The majority of activities handled in Polska focuses on logistics, procurement, engineering and supplier quality. In 2013, MTU Aero Engines Polska has started expanding its facility, production is expected to be up and running in late 2014 and to run at full capacity in 2017.
