Donatech

Founded in 1987, Donatech Corporation performed White & Black Box testing of software to help its clients meet FAA RTCA DO-178B certification. In fact, its first project was a Level A certification on a Boeing 747-400 EICAS display. Since then, Donatech has diversified into technical staffing and varying scoped projects that typically involve embedded software.

Donatech's core group involves our software/system engineers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that work on client programs. Their technical expertise includes:

Avionics (Commercial and DoD)

Military Communications (Radios, Transceivers, Datalinks, SATCOM)

Software/Hardware certification to the level of modified condition/decision coverage (MC/DC)

NextGen Technologies and Heritage Programs

Professional and Scientific Applications involving Critical Systems

For in-house projects that cannot simulate host/target systems, then co-location or other arrangements to access necessary equipment (hardware, test stands, system integrated lab (SIL), etc.) may be required.

Most of Donatech's revenue today comes from providing niche contingent labor to large national companies such as Rockwell Collins, Cummins, L-3 Communications, Lockheed Martin, Medtronic, BAE Systems, Meritor, etc.
