SaxonAir Aircraft Sales Ltd
<p> Saxo<em></em>nAir was established in 2007 with the aim of providing a flexible, co<em></em>nvenient and cost effective private air travel and associated support services. The company was formed operating o<em></em>nly a single Beechcraft King Air aircraft and a Eurocopter AS355 helicopter with five dedicated staff. </p> <p> As the company was looking for expansion Saxo<em></em>nAir became part of the Klyne Aviation Group in 2009. Under the Klyne Groups direction it has co<em></em>ntinued to develop the business significantly by investing in the aircraft fleet, purpose built premises and knowledgeable staff, allowing for growth and diversification into wider aspects of the aviation sector. </p> <p> Saxo<em></em>nAir were awarded a 10 year co<em></em>ntract in 2010 as the preferred Handling Agent to supply ground handling and associated services at Norwich Airport for all non-scheduled business, private and general aviation aircraft. Further co<em></em>ntracts followed to provide dedicated ground support to the offshore oil & gas and renewables industry and today in excess of 40,000 passengers and 700 to<em></em>nnes of freight are handled each year for flights in and out of Norwich Airport to the Southern North Sea. </p> <p> To provide for the increasing demands of SaxonAir’s customers and fulfilment of further aviation contracts, a purpose built multi-million pound Business Aviation Centre and hangar facility was completed in May 2011; this new first class development was designed specifically to be multi-functio<em></em>nal meeting the needs of the private air traveller together with serving the offshore transportation sector.  The centre forms SaxonAir’s headquarters for its worldwide operations and is now home to many other aviation companies who collectively cover a wide aspect of expertise and associated aviation services. A third hangar was completed in 2014 for additio<em></em>nal capacity requirements for SaxonAir’s tenants. </p> <p> Today, Saxo<em></em>nAir operates from ba<em></em>ses throughout Europe, and holds two UK Air Operator’s Certificate’s (CAA AOC No GB2327 & GB2425) cover both Helicopter and Aircraft operations. Individuals within the business have a wealth of experience in delivering, operating and managing a wide variety of aircraft, which enables us to provide our clients with exactly the right aircraft for their journey – a one-stop solution. Specific aircraft operating ba<em></em>ses are located at Lo<em></em>ndon Luton, Lo<em></em>ndon Stansted,  Norwich and Cambridge. </p> <p> 2015 welcomed SaxonAir’s first ultra-long range heavy jet o<em></em>nto the fleet, the Gulfstream G550. With this aircraft Saxo<em></em>nAir can fly clients worldwide and non-stop from Lo<em></em>ndon to Los Angeles or Hong Kong.  This year we have also added the state of the art Legacy 500 Super Midsize jet which has incredible performance, comfort and eco<em></em>nomy together with investment into the Leo<em></em>nardo A109 Grand New helicopters. </p> <p> The current aircraft fleet is a mix of owned and managed aircraft that fulfils the requirements of every customer from entry level to heavy jets and helicopters.  Our co<em></em>ntinuing success makes Saxo<em></em>nAir one of the fastest growing and diversifying business aviation companies in the UK. </p>
