Targeting H.264 and MPEG-2 head-end encoders and high-density transcoders, the A6 deploys high-end features such as RDO and multipass, while the transcode uses full decode/encode with support for adaptive/smooth multi-streaming of the Adobe/Apple/Microsoft formats.
The A6 device's low power and small form-factor make it suitable for high-density applications and a flexible software development kit (SDK) supports a rich API for vendor differentiation.
