PRE-REQUISITE: Private Pilot License
AGE: Training can start at the age of 17, however an applicant shall have reached his eighteenth birthday to apply for the license
MEDICAL FITNESS: Be in possession of Category I medical
KNOWLEDGE:
80 hours of aeroplane ground school instruction Transport Canada Written test examination
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE:
200 hours total flight time, including 100 hours Pilot-in-Command total, incl. 20h cross-country 65 hours of commercial flight training, incl. 35h dual and 30h solo
SKILL: Applicant shall successfully complete a flight test to Transport Canada Standards
COST (not including PPL): Starting at 20'400 USD with Cessna 152, starting at 23'900 USD with Cessna 172 (prices as of May 2015)
