This cockpit panel was designed according to a customer request. The cockpit shell of the PA42 was provided by the customer.
The panel consists of a 19" TFT monitor at the pilot side and of a 17" TFT monitor at the copilot side. In the middle is located the ITRA-NAVSTACK. The monitors are mounted without the case behind the panel mask. In these mask are integrated the switches and rotary encoders.
The software and hardware are based on the panel system ITRA-PANEL-TFT2PROP PRO.
The software may run twice, so that the copilot panel is independend from the pilot side panel. The trimm hand-wheels of the elevator, rudder and aileron in the center console are equiped with rotary encoters and operating fully. The throttle unit is connected to the USB-Controller, dem ITRA-AxisControl, that serves up to 8 axis and buttons.
The panel is employed for demonstration and training purpose.
