Position SensorsWe manufacture a selecion of position sensors to provide high quality and less expensive solutions. Our position sensors are on board aircraft operated by Northwest, Continental Airlines, Evergreen, and Midwest Express. We supply the position sensors and the Flap Control Unit for the Sino Swearingen SJ30 aircraft.
Position Sensor
We have two position sensors designed to support the FAA mandated flight data recorder upgrade program. The synchros are electrically identical, but are packaged in two configurations for different installation conditions. Each synchro consists of a wound, single-phase rotor, mounted on ball bearings, in a housing that contains a three-phase, wye connected stator. The units are brushless, limited rotation configurations, using a cable wrap to transmit electrical signals fro the rotor. Our sensors are flight-proven, with millions of hours of successful operation.
