Kitco Defense provides structural aircraft assemblies for OEMs including Northrop Grumman and Boeing. A variety of services that the OEMs can no longer afford to provide or desire to support are offered including supply chain and program management.
Kitco Defense currently supports the Boeing A-10 WRP with both machining and assembly. Kitco Defense machines the trailing ribs for the center wing box, these are then assembled with other components and shipped to the Kitco Defense facility in Georgia for point of use kit delivery to Boeing. Kitco Defense also assembles the trailing edge flap track and the pitot tube for the A-10 program.

Machining
Kitco Defense’s manufacturing facility provides machining, finishing and assembly services for customers. onsite engineering and quality assurance teams support products ranging from precision machine components to riveted assemblies. Machined components can be held to tolerances of 0.0001 inches, 8 RMS micro finishing and flatness measured in helium light bands. Qualified aerospace partners provide special processing such as heat treatments, plating processes and other spcialty coatings. Certification documents are included with product shipments in conformance with US military and FAA requirements.
