Multi-Engine Rating Overview

Required flight time - NA, only instructor sign-off required

     The multi-engine rating can be obtained during any phase of flight training, private, instrument, commercial etc., however most pilots will obtain the multi-engine rating separately.  once you have your multi-engine rating you are able to fly most piston driven multi-engine aircraft, one advantage of havin your multi-engine rating is building the required multi-engine flight time to apply for the ATP certificate.

Basic Requirements

Must hold at least a Private Pilot License

Must be able to pass a FAA class 3 physical

Must be able to read write and speak english
