Prerequisites:
Must hold a Private Pilot License
Be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English
Be at least 18 years of age
Hold at least a current third-class FAA medical certificate. Later, if your flying requires a commercial pilot certificate, you must hold at least a second-class medical certificate.
Hold an instrument rating. A commercial pilot is presumed to have an instrument rating. If not, his/her commercial pilot certificate will be endorsed with a prohibition against carrying passengers for hire on day VFR flights beyond 50 NM or at night.
At least 240 hours total time
The package includes everything that is required to get most commercial pilots ready for the FAA Commercial Pilot checkride – all in one package price. The only things that are not included are medical exam fees and test fees which must be paid directly to an FAA authorized testing center or designated examiner.
For the flight hours required in a complex aircraft we offer our Piper Lance. The Lance has 300 horsepower, retractable gear, and comes equipped with autopilot, air conditioning, and a brand new custom leather interior.
