Within the Peace Eagle Project, Turkey purchases four B737 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft and GSS (Ground Support Station) from Boeing Co. of USA. TAI and Boeing signed a subcontract on 28 Jan 2004 covering “Modification, System installation, Tests and Delivery“ activities. Per the program, while first A/C activities were carried out at Seattle-USA, the other three A/C activities were performed at TAI's facilities.

Besides the modifications, all functional test activities of new or modified systems together with all periodical, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities are conducted by TAI.
