Honouring Salamanca, which is the birthplace of human learning, Adventia has chosen for its site the seat of instrument flight schools since 1939. During all the years of experience under different names, most of the pilots who are now part of the main Spanish Airlines or the Air Force have passed through the school. At the end of 1999 and with the participation of SENASA and the airline shareholders (Iberia - Air Europa - SAS - Spanair) Adventia, European College of Aeronautics was created. A private school with a solid base of shareholders and an important human workforce which is born with a clear European idea in mind and which has been launched on the market giving all its support to high quality training. In November 2005 Fundaci NIDO-Mariano Rodr uez became a new shareholder. In April 2012 The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Salamanca - CONFAES (The Confederation of Organizations of Entrepreneurs of Salamanca) became a major shareholders thus consolidating the Company. Adventia signus an agreement with the University of Salamanca in order to offer an Aeronautical Degree.
