When Canadian Flight Centre (CFC) was founded in 1979, the vision behind the school was to share the dream of flying with everyone who was interested – not just a privileged few.
At the same time there was a need for the highly specialized training of professional pilots that were headed for the airlines, and Canadian Flight Centre became one of the first schools concentrating on instrument flying and other advanced training.
Since then CFC has trained thousands of pilots from all over the world – and the vision has not changed!
Today we are here to train the next generation of pilots for a career in aviation and our students come from all 6 continents (Antarctica excluded).
And we still do things different from most other flying schools! (Which other school can claim to train from “tail wheel to turbine”?)
But despite the growth and multiple locations, CFC remains committed to the local aviation community. Regardless if you want to become a career pilot or you want to fly for fun – we have the best play ground!
