MAK Aviation is a sociable flying club and flight school established in 1999 within easy reach of London and the Home Counties at Hertfordshire's historic London Elstree Aerodrome. We offer an extensive range of training courses for General Aviation pilots and are always delighted to welcome newcomers to our growing family of flyers - from new students learning to fly from ab initio to qualified pilots with hundreds or thousands of flying hours behind them. In the world of aviation there is always more to learn and further to explore.
Our highly experienced flight instructors have guided many students from their first flying lesson through to the private pilot's licence and far beyond - indeed some of our ex-students are now professional pilots themselves. With the internationally recognised EASA PPL licence you will be able to fly family and friends anywher in the world. Best of all, once you have earned your PPL there is nothing stopping you from gaining further ratings enabling you to fly in a wide variety of weather conditions, at night-time, or in complex and multi-engine aircraft.
London Elstree Aerodrome is open seven days a week from 9:00 in the morning, so get in touch or dro in for an informal chat whenever suits you to take advantage of our thousands of hours' flying experience...and free refreshments, biscuits and wi-fi!
