SATC is more than just a flight school. Our passion for aviation drives us to share that passion with our students, providing them with an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. We provide safe, professional flight training in an enthusiastic and fun learning environment.
The Springbank airport has a full control tower operated by NAV Canada and is considered one of the best training airports in Canada. Springbank lies in airspace clear of Calgary International Airport, thereby avoiding a number of time-consuming traffic delays and restrictions. the Springbank airport is a designated controlled airspace in one of Canada’s most popular aerodromes, creating an excellent pilot training environment for both professional and recreational enthusiasts.
Our practice area is only ten minutes from the airport. This short commute time means you will spend the majority of your flight time practicing, not commuting to the practice area. Along with an enjoyable training atmosphere we are committed to providing you with the safest and most efficient training possible. Our Commercial Pilot training program is licensed under the Private Vocational Schools Act, and we strive to maintain the highest standard of training excellence. Because of this accreditation, our Commercial Pilot students are able to apply for financial assistance through Alberta Learning.
In addition to flight training services, we are able to offer the following: maintenance, tie down services, upholstery, avionics and more.
