Plastic model kit of the Mikoyan MiG-31, 'Foxhound' a supersonic interceptor aircraft developed for use by the Soviet Air Forces, designed by the Mikoyan design bureau as a replacement for the earlier MiG-25 'Foxbat'. MiG-31M development of a more comprehensive advanced version, began in 1984 and first flew in 1985.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed tandem cockpit, optional (canopy's and speed brakes), separate controlled surfaces, detailed (engines and exhaust with turbine and afterburner elements), nose antenna, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, external stores (R-77 (x6), R-37 (x6), R-40R (x2), R-40T (x2), R-73E (X2), fuel tank (x2) and launch rails).
