Plastic model kit of the MiG-31 (Foxhound), a supersonic interceptor aircraft developed for use by the Soviet Air Forces. The MiG-31 has the distinction of being one of the fastest combat jets in the world, it continues to be operated by the Russian Air Force and the Kazakhstan Air Force following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet unio in late 1991.
Kit has engraved panel lines, well appointed tandem cockpit, optional (canopy and speed brakes), separately molded trailing edge slats and flaps, detailed (engines and exhaust with turbine and afterburner elements), detailed (wheel wells with metal struts and optional undercarriage with rubber tires), external stores (R-60 (x4), R-77 (x2), R-73E (x2), R-37 (x6), R-40R (x2), R-40T (x2) and fuel tank (x2)), photoetch accents (canopy, nose antenna and other exterior).
